Bread Roll Dumplings in a Napkin

Adding universal Vegeta to bread roll dumplings, they get a new dimension. All of those who heard how delicious Czech cuisine is have an additional motive for tasting. To make the experience complete, make a toast with a glass of fine Czech beer.

Ingredients

  • 400 g bread rolls
  • 1 tablespoon Vegeta
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tablespoons Podravka Bread crumbs

Preparation

  1. 1.
    On a greased baking pan place a day old cubed bread rolls and leave in the oven until they get a golden yellow colour.
  2. 2.
    Scramble the eggs, add Vegeta, milk, parsley and mix with dried bread roll cubes. Let the mixture stand for about 20 minutes.
  3. 3.
    Form a roll out of the prepared mixture, place it in the napkin previously sprinkled with bread crumbs and wrap it. Tie the ends of the napkin with a string. Cook in salted boiling water for about 30 minutes.

Serving

When cooked, drain, cut and serve with meat dishes with a sauce.

Advice

You can form balls out of this mixture, it will shorten the preparation time.

Notice

This meal can be frozen
Freezing: Prepare the dish all the way and chill. Remove the cooked dumplings from the napkin, wrap in a plastic foil and freeze.
Unfreezing: Thaw the dumplings at room temperature for about 2 hours. Cut them in slices and heat over steam.
Durability: 60 days.
