Light rice with wine

If you have not had the pleasure to experience Italy by tasting various risottos, this meal will give a true taste. It is also quite easy and simple to prepare, while being delicious.

Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 tablespoons oil
  • 300 g rice
  • 1 tablespoon Vegeta
  • 50 ml white wine
  • parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation

  1. 1.
    In hot oil, cook the rice for a few minutes.
  2. 2.
    Sprinkle Vegeta and cover with hot water. (The rule 1 cup of rice – 2 cups of water applies)
  3. 3.
    Cook half covered on low heat approximately 10-15 minutes.
  4. 4.
    Add in white wine, just prior to finishing the rice.

Serving

Serve as main meal with some parmesan cheese.

Advice

You can add finely chopped vegetables, and continue cooking as per recipe.
