Mediterranean salad

  • 200 g Zlato Polje egg pasta (pipe rigate or elbow macaroni)
  • salt
  • 300 g cleaned shrimp tails
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 100 g Spanish onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • 60 g Podravka green pitted olives
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Vegeta Natur for salad
  • 100 g cottage cheese
  • 1 avocado


  1. 1.
    Cook pasta in salted water and drain, and rinse under cold water.
  2. 2.
    Fry shrimp tails in a little oil in a pan.
  3. 3.
    Add pasta to shrimp. Add halved cherry tomatoes, sliced onions, cubed green peppers and sliced olives.
  4. 4.
    Prepare dressing from olive oil, apple cider vinegar and Vegeta Natur for salad. Pour over salad and stir well.
  5. 5.
    Add slice and cubed avocado and cottage cheese.


Serve immediately as a meal or snack.


Salad components can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge, and combined before serving with dressing.
